We invite you to submit a session proposal for the 2023 Grantmakers In Health Annual Conference on Health Philanthropy, Advancing Philanthropy’s Commitment to the Long Game, which will be held in-person on June 7 – 9, 2023 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The most successful, highly rated annual conference sessions include new voices and diverse perspectives; allow for thoughtful reflection and candid conversation; avoid traditional meeting formats; and actively inform, inspire, and engage in-person participants. We welcome proposals that address a range of issues related to access and quality, community engagement and empowerment, health equity and social justice, population health, and philanthropic growth and impact.
Who Can Submit Session Proposals?
Leaders and staff of foundations, corporate giving programs, government agencies, companies that manage philanthropic funds, and regional and national philanthropy-serving organizations are welcome to submit or codesign session proposals.
How Do I Submit a Session Proposal?
Click here to submit a session proposal for GIH’s annual conference, Advancing Philanthropy’s Commitment to the Long Game. To submit a proposal, you will need to create a username and password and complete all required fields, including contact information for the session designer(s) and proposed speakers.
When Are Session Proposals Due?
Proposals are due by 5:00 p.m. Eastern on Friday, November 4, 2022.
When Will I Be Notified About My Session Proposal?
You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours acknowledging receipt of your completed proposal. You will be notified about the status of your proposal no later than January 27, 2023. GIH may request that alterations be made to a proposed session so that it more closely reflects the goals and objectives of the annual conference.
