Christine B. Hastedt · Dr. Wendy J. Wolf Health Leadership Award
The Maine Health Access Foundation (MeHAF) has named Christine B. Hastedt, Public Policy Director at Maine Equal Justice Partners, as its first Dr. Wendy J. Wolf Health Leadership Award recipient. Ms. Hastedt received the prestigious award at MeHAF’s Board of Trustees meeting on October 26 and the award includes $10,000 for Maine Equal Justice Partners, an organization that Hastedt helped to found in 1996. Ms. Hastedt has been a tireless advocate for low-income people in Maine for decades. The award is intended to honor her 15-year tenure by recognizing the exceptional leadership and achievements of nonprofit leaders working to promote access to quality health care and improve the health of Maine people, particularly the uninsured and underserved.
