The Deloitte Health Equity Institute provided generous support for the Makers Residency, a program designed by Health Leads to invest in, guide, and support local leaders as they identify and craft innovative solutions to advance health equity in their communities. The Makers Residency is designed to foster a nurturing environment for community-based organizations that encourages creativity, agency, and autonomy to spark meaningful change.
Leaders of U.S. community-based organizations are encouraged to apply and participate in the 10-week Makers Residency beginning March 2024. Participants will receive funding, coaching, resources, peer support and connection, and technical assistance. At the end of Makers Residency, cohort members will have a prototype of their solution to test, refine, and scale with their communities. Applications are due by Friday, January 5, 2024.
