Andrew Romano
The Mat-Su Health Foundation recently welcomed Andrew Romano in the role of building superintendent. Mr. Romano is responsible for management of the 46,000 square foot multitenant facility currently being built by the Mat-Su Health Foundation in Wasilla, Alaska. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day management and maintenance of the building, Mr. Romano is responsible for establishing building policies and procedures and managing the safety and security of the facility and its tenants. He will also prepare, execute, and administer tenant leases.
Mr. Romano is a veteran of the United States Air Force who brings a wealth of knowledge in facilities operations and management to the Mat-Su Health Foundation. He also has extensive experience with local nonprofit organizations including Wolverine Academy, North American Outdoor Institute, Beacon Hill, and Alaska Youth and Family Network.

Earl Millett
The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation welcomes Earl Millett as the foundation’s newest Program Officer. Mr. Millett will manage grants to nonprofits that serve low-income and vulnerable populations in the areas of older adults, workforce development, and basic human needs and health.
Prior to joining the Weinberg Foundation, Mr. Millett served as the Chief Operating Officer of Civic Works, a nonprofit that transforms the lives of Baltimore, Maryland residents through community service and skills development.
Before joining Civic Works, Mr. Millett served with the Peace Corps in Ecuador as an Environmental Extension Agent at the Charles Darwin Foundation. Mr. Millett is a member of the Greater Baltimore Committee Leadership Class of 2016 and a recipient of Smart CEO’s 2017 Executive Management Award.

Vivian Lasley-Bibbs, MPH; Allen K. Montgomery, Jr., JD; and Brent Wright, MD
Health care Executive Allen K. Montgomery, Jr., JD, of Louisville has been elected vice chair of the board for the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky. Mr. Montgomery also was named chair of the Board’s strategic planning and evaluation committee.
Additional newly elected board officers are Brent Wright, MD, of Glasgow, Kentucky as Treasurer and Vivian Lasley-Bibbs, MPH, of Lexington, Kentucky as Secretary.
Mr. Montgomery, a native of McLean County, has served in senior corporate health care executive roles for more than 30 years with Norton Healthcare, Baptist Healthcare System, Catholic Health Initiatives, and Supplies Over Seas. Mr. Montgomery has been a member of the foundation’s board since 2013, and previously chaired its Community Advisory Committee.
Mr. Wright also was named chair of the foundation board’s Finance and Audit Committee; he has served on the Board since 2014. He is Medical Director of the T.J. Sampson Family Medicine Center, and is Associate Dean for Rural Health Innovation at the University of Louisville School of Medicine.
Ms. Lasley-Bibbs is an epidemiologist and serves as Acting Director of the Office for Health Equity at the Kentucky Department of Public Health. She is based in Frankfort, Kentucky and has served on the foundation’s board since 2015.
The board also reaffirmed the following officers of its Community Advisory Council: Robert Slaton, EdD, of Georgetown, Kentucky as Chair; LeChrista Finn, DrPH, of Lexington, as Vice Chair; and Tim Marcum, of Louisville, Kentucky as Secretary.
The Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that advocates for policies to help make Kentuckians healthier. Board and Council positions have one-year terms but officers may be reelected for additional terms while they serve.
