Director of Philanthropy

Financial Accounting and Reporting Analyst
Support the grantmaking work of the BCBSNC Foundation by ensuring timely and accurate payments of grants and expenses, production of accurate, quality and timely GAAP and statutory financial reporting; ensuring adherence to financial accounting controls and polices; coordinating the monthly, quarterly and yearly close; and coordinating general ledger maintenance. Grants and Programs Officer
The Grants and Program Officer is part of a team responsible for coordinating, managing and executing activities related to programs and initiatives of the grantmaking arm of the CareQuest Institute for Oral Health, particularly focused on working with Native communities. The position will include implementation of the current grants strategy and planning new engagement activities, management of a specific grantmaking portfolio, and engagement with the Oral Health Progress and Equity Network (OPEN).

The Director of Strategic Initiatives will lead major strategic initiatives complementing foundation’s primary grantmaking and investment strategies and support the organization’s advocacy, capacity building, communications, and community engagement activities, in collaboration with other staff and external consultants and partners as appropriate. This individual will also work to position The Health Foundation as a leader in advancing health equity and regional equity.
