Senior Staff

As part of this work, the position is responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive plans that integrate strategic conversations with learning and evidence, designing and deploying evaluation studies, and engaging the teams in learning that informs future strategy work and assesses existing work. The Senior Officer also supports aspects of organizational capacity building around strategy, evidence and learning, as well as creating and overseeing structures and practices for the Learning & Evaluation team to improve and innovate their own practices.

The Director of Impact Learning and Evaluation strategically leads the assessment of the Foundation’s work and investments, commissioning or applying research and data – including community voice – that informs the development and refinement of strategy and assesses progress towards the Foundation’s goals. This is a leadership position that partners with impact, communications, and investment teams, and regularly presents to the board of directors.

The Foundation is happy to announce an opening for the position of Senior Officer for Public Opinion Insights. This unique position leads a signature body of work within the Foundation focused on equipping advocates for health equity and racial justice with research-based insight into what shapes Coloradans’ opinions about controversial public policy topics.

Seeking an experienced, creative, strategic communications professional to serve as its new Director of Communications. The director will have the opportunity to amplify Cal Wellness’ work using finely honed strategy, storytelling, and influence, collaborate across the organization, and serve as a senior communications consultant to the management team and Board of Directors.

This position oversees the integration of communications, community engagement, and government relations, aligning the work of externally facing teams. An inherent spokesperson for the Foundation with a deep belief in its mission, you would be a connector able to forge productive relationships with public officials and leaders in the healthcare industry and local communities throughout New York City and State.

You will be leading the team charged with amplifying the work of Dogwood’s partners and communicating Dogwood’s purpose, commitments, and successful community-led initiatives to the region and beyond. Ensuring Dogwood is known as a leader in improving the health and well-being of all people and communities in Western North Carolina.
