New York State Health Foundation (New York, NY)

The New York State Health Foundation (NYSHealth) announced an upcoming Request for Proposals (RFP) to support projects that seek system improvements, practice innovations, or policy reforms designed to benefit and empower patients and consumers.

NYSHealth wants New Yorkers to have a meaningful role as partners both in their own health care and at the policy level. At the clinical level, patients should be empowered to get their needs met and have a voice in health care decisions. At the policy level, patients and consumers should have a seat at the table to help drive and inform decisions that affect health care policy, quality, access, and costs in New York State.

In an effort to amplify the voice of New Yorkers and rebalance the health care system so that patients have more influence over their health and health care, NYSHealth will issue an RFP on April 18, 2018. Submission of letters of interest will be due on May 16, 2018.

This RFP is open only to organizations based in New York State. Applicants may partner or subcontract with a non-New York-based organization if it offers resources and expertise beneficial to the project. Through this RFP, awards of up to $250,000 will be granted to up to six organizations for New York-targeted projects spanning one to three years.

To learn more, please email your interest or questions. Apply beginning April 18.
