For the past five years, the Burke Foundation has worked alongside community doula organizations. In this Health Affairs article, Turquoise Brewington, Renée Nogales, and Atiya Weiss share the challenges faced by the two pilots that the Foundation has funded, and the lessons learned to create working conditions where community doulas can thrive.
